My name is Carmella Donofrio and I am a Props and Crafts Artisan from Youngstown, Ohio! My journey in theatre began when I performed in my first production when I was in fourth grade. My love for theatre grew as I continued to do shows and then in high school shifted from performing to backstage and design work.

In 2018 I enrolled in Youngstown State University to pursue anything and everything that had to do with backstage and theatrical design. I fell in love with stage management, props work, and all things set related. In 2023 I graduated from YSU with a BA in Technical Theatre and Design and a BA in Music with a focus in Clarinet Performance.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, playing video games, crafting, and hanging out with my cat. I love to spend my Saturday mornings at the Sandusky Farmers Market with my small business “Crafts by Carmella” where I sell items that I have made! My favorite things to do are cross stitching and crocheting, specifically crocheting things for my cat.
